From an initial focus on my own ancestral origins my research efforts collected a number of Austen family trees. This led to contacts with other Austen researchers and a collection of material on families of the Austen name. This webpage is the report card of those efforts and discoveries.

Although the intention remained to focus predominantly on the "en" version of the name except where the spelling changes or is used interchangeably, inevitably I have collected some Austin pedigrees which I have begun to add to the site.

This site is currently being constructed.

I would welcome queries and additional material for the collection, Austens, and also Austins.

Comments and suggestions to improve the site are also very welcome.
